Instructions of use

  • Biostim is a ENS device for the research of periferical nerves with the purpouse to anaesthetise near the nerve with the adequate drugs in defined quantity. The final user is an anaesthesist in the operating theatre or in pain therapy.
Biostim is combined with steel needles the cannula covered in teflon but the point and it is connected to the device through electical wire. To the needle in connected a plastic tube with Luer Lock to screw a syringe and inject the anaesthetic. Once the nerve is identified, through the electrical impulse, mussles contractions indicate the nerve proximity. The Doctor reaches the closest point with the needle and injects the anaesthetic.
